Overview

This certificate program provides you with a basic foundation for maintaining the accounting records of entities in industry, commerce and government. Required courses include both theory and computer application.

Upon successful completion of this College program you may also apply to the Canadian Institute of Bookkeeping (CIB), a national non-profit organization.  CIB recognizes the courses that comprise the Confederation College Bookkeeping certificate as credits in their program. You must complete all courses within 5 years of acceptance into the program. However, you will have the flexibility to set own schedule and may be able to complete the program sooner. Complete the Application for Admission to a Part-time Online Program.

Upon completion of required courses, submit Request to Graduate form.           

 

 

Employment Opportunities

Graduates may find opportunities in both private and public sectors as bookkeepers, payroll officers, in accounts receivable and payable departments and as office clerks.
