Quickbooks Level II

This course will build on the concepts learned in the introduction course. Topics include: creating a new company, entering opening balances, payroll setup and transactions, inventory setup and how to manage inventory, multicurrency, customized forms and advanced reporting. It is recommended that students take Quickbooks Level I (OL753) prior to taking this course.

NOTE: Students require a working copy of QuickBooks Premier 2016 or 2017 desktop version. A 2016 trial version of the software is available. Students need to register at to receive (via email) their trial version of the Quickbooks Accountant software. Once registered, students will receive an email with information on how to access the free software. Students also require payroll software loaded on their computer. The free student trial version of the QuickBooks software includes payroll for those who do not have payroll software loaded on their computer. No additional software is needed for this course.
Note: you need the desktop version of the software. Students cannot use the MAC edition of the software as it does not contain Canadian content. Students must have a computer with one of the following operating systems, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista (SP2 or later). The software will not work with Windows XP or any system older than the ones noted.
