Corporate Governance

In this course, students will gain an understanding of effective corporate governance structures and processes for Indigenous corporations that respect best practices of western governance while incorporating Indigenous values and world views. This course will provide students with a unique perspective on governance within the public sector, corporations, not-for-profits, and boards relating to procurement, transparency, contracts, agreements, regulations, and corporate social responsibility. ** Students may register for one or more of the courses within the Indigenous Governance and Public Administration Program without applying to the program. However in order to receive the program credential students must apply to the program and meet admission requirements. Students must have access to an iOS device (preferably iPad) as each course will have a multi-touch iBook. For class schedule details, please contact Liisa Hupka at 807.624.3355, or
