  1. Does taking a Fall Academy course count towards my GPA?
    Yes, all course grades that are applicable to your current program will count towards your GPA.
  2. Does taking a Fall Academy course reduce my full-time tuition?
    No, you will not reduce your full-time tuition.
  3. Where will I write my tests?
    If you are taking your course at a Confederation College campus, or Contact North site you will take your tests there. If you are taking your course from home you will need to contact the Distance Education technician at You will be advised that you are responsible to locate your own invigilator; your invigilator will need to be pre-approved. Any cost associated with test invigilation is the student’s responsibility.
    **The above does not pertain to Confederation College Online courses. Students taking a Confederation College Online course will be provided with an instructional email.
  4. Do I need a parking permit?
    You only need a permit if you are attending classes at Thunder Bay campus between 8 am and 5 pm on weekdays.  If you are a part-time day student, a pass is available from the Centre for Continuing Education 153 Shuniah Building.
  5. How do I find out my username and password to log in to the College system?
    Your Password is as follows:
    F = First letter of first name CAPITALIZED.
    n = First letter of last name lowercase.
    x = Last nine digits of your student number. eq. 100129914
    Username and Password are Case Sensitive
  6. What do I do if I have forgotten my Username and PASSWORD, or if I’m having trouble logging in?

  8. How do I check my College email?
    You can access your College email account from anywhere in the world using a computer, an internet connection and a web browser program. To access your College email:
    a. Go to
    b. when prompted with a logon window, enter your regular College network account username and password.
    c. Click the ‘OK’ button to login.
  9. How to I access my transcript?
    Visit Registration Services’ Transcript Request Form page and follow the instructions there to access your transcript. You can apply for a copy of your transcript online, through our Banner Information System, or you can fill out the Transcript Request Webform to view your transcript.
