Thursday Sept 21, 2017 Community Partners Evening
This year’s event will feature Confederation College’s local alumni chefs alongside our culinary students and faculty who will prepare a wide range of tantalizing delights. A variety of gourmet food stations will be arranged throughout the venue starting at 5:30pm, giving you the opportunity to mix, mingle and network at our biggest event of the year while students representing numerous programs will help welcome and serve our guests.
All proceeds from the event will be directed to entrance awards to support students who wish to attend Confederation College. Individual tickets are $125.00. There are also student award packages that enable you to purchase tickets at a reduced rate while establishing an award in the name of your choice.
Friday September 22, 2017 Alumni Speakers Series
Successful Alumni will be highlighted as they present their exciting accomplishments since graduating from Confederation. This event is in partnership with Colleges Ontario and part of the 50th Homecoming Weekend, this free event will be open to the community and video streamed for those outside Thunder Bay. A detailed schedule with Speakers and times will be posted soon!
Saturday September 23, 2017 Community Festival
We welcome Alumni, current students, staff and faculty, retirees and the whole community to celebrate with us. Join us for FREE activities from noon until 5:00pm, including the Entertainment Stage, children’s activities and games, Athletics Skills and Games, Antique Car Show, Pop up Museum and Tours. Food will be available to available to purchase on site.
Starting at 7:30pm, celebrate with us at our Drive In Movie! Free parking with concession items to purchase. You will enjoy viewing the best of ConFlix shorts and a Feature Film (TBA). After the movie guests will enjoy a fireworks show!
Sunday September 24, 2017 50th Birthday Brunch
Join President Jim Madder in Ryan Hall from 10:00am until 12:00pm for brunch and a presentation on where we’ve come and the exciting future of Confederation College.
